FRINGES PROJECT NO. 7
Is a collaboration with artists and designers Henrik Vibskov and Andreas Emenius both graduates from Central Saint Martins. In 2000 and 1999 respectively.
In 2007 after collaborating on some other projects, they began working on ‘The Fringe Series’ , a series of work exploring illusion, surface, and movement.
They invited me to participate on a project made for the exhibition “Grand Danois” during Milan design week 2008, as head of the construction-design part.
Inspiration came after watching the film ‘Solaris’, and staring at a New Years Eve party hat.
Wooden structure with 19 spinning ‘eggs’ dressed with shades of black fabric.
